Nina Dobrev, the Bulgarian-Canadian artist plays the lovely Elena Gilbert. Elena is caught between the struggle of Stefan and Damon for her affection. Her parents died in a car crash before the events of the story. As confident as she is beautiful Elena has something special that gives her the strength to deal with the situations she are presented with.
Nina Dobrev surely has the looks to encaptivate and hold our attention. Who wouldn’t want to fall in love with her. Relatively unknown; but Nina is no strange to the tv screen. From a young age she showed strong interest in performing and in the talents and arts. This interest and enthusiasm has carried her through. With various small roles in films, she is now starring as Mia Jones in Degrassi. We look forward to seeing her role in the Vampire diaries.
