The vampire diaries is the upcoming drama from the CW Network of television shows catered to teens. The series revolves around the character Elena Gilbert who is a normal young high school girl. She is beautiful, popular and desirable: known and loved by all in her school. She attracts the attention of the new mysterious boy; Stefan who moves into the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
Little does Elena know that Stefan is a centuries old vampire. Soon both he and his brother Damon will be vying for her attention, her heart and her life. How will the drama unfold when these two vampires- one good, one evil- go to war for the one thing both of them want.
